DAYLIGHT DONUTS

Exterior and interior murals created for the newly remodeled and rebranded Daylight Donuts located in Lansing, KS. I created a few concepts for this location, which is a drive through donut shop that was originally a single car drive through car wash, before the new owner chose to go in this direction with the art. The design references the gradual change from moonlight to daylight, or dusk til’ dawn. All of the characters are consuming items specifically sold on a daily basis within the shop (coffee, cookies, donuts & ice cream) and are colored to match both the logo colors of the shop and sunlight in the morning. The exterior mural was hand painted with brush and rollers and the interior mural was created with spray paint. Both walls combined took 9 days to complete.
