We Are Marlborough

82nd & Paseo, Kansas City, MO

Live painting created during the Marlborough Youth Arts Festival. I created the painting from start to finish in a total of 6 hrs, using spray paint. The characters represent the Marlborough community, as it slowly transitions from the older generation to the youth in the area that the community is currently investing in heavily. The mural was installed in a park that the community is currently reclaiming and turning into a public meeting place. The work will be on display until the summer of 2020.
