This is a painting I created for my friends wife, who works in the field of organ & tissue donation. This piece represents the idea of the ultimate act of sharing, while incorporating the logos from the organization in the painting as well.

For every 1 donor, 8 lives are saved and 40 lives are affected directly. Playing off of this idea, and the fact that donors come in all shapes, sizes, colors, and spiritual beliefs...I made a painting depicting the act of sharing between a donor and a receiver.

The finished painting consists of acrylic, house paint, spray paint, 3 layers of resin on a birchwood panel.
